If your CO Detector is full on... call 911

The Fire Department will come and ensure your house is safe to go back into.

CO is odorless and tasteless but is lethal in a very short time if the concentration is high enough.

If you smell natural gas (rotten egg smell) call Enbridge.

Open front door and leave the house until Enbridge makes sure your house is safe.

It only takes a small leak to make a substantial odor.

Tip #1 check to make sure you have a CO detector and Smoke detector in each bedroom and in each floor level.
Tip #2 Check all your detectors Date Codes and replace when out of service date.
Tip #3 Battery operated models should have their batteries replaced each spring.

If You Have No Heat You should always have one or more electric plug-in heaters for emergencies.	If You Have No Cooling
a) If the furnace fan does not run Check if there is electrical power Check the electrical breaker/fuse Check the furnace wall switch Check the thermostat settings If these are operational then Call 905-881-1001 for after hours service.	a) If the outside unit does not run Check if there is electrical power Check the electrical breaker/fuse Check the furnace wall switch Check the thermostat settings If these are operational then Call 905-881-1001 for after hours service.
b) If the furnace fan is running If the pilot light is not on, then call 905-881-1001 for service.	b) If the outside unit is running Check filter. If filter is clean, call 905-881-1001 for service.
