Meet our President Wayne Langford

As president of Design Air, Wayne relies on his extensive background in heating and cooling operations, education, and 47 years experience with the company.

Wayne studied at the University of Waterloo in Chemical Engineering. Continuing to pursue a manufacturer’s education, he earned his Certificate of Qualification as a Gas fitter and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic.

Beyond education, Wayne has served as President of ClimateCare, Canada’s largest heating and cooling cooperative. He has also served on Carrier’s Dealer Council, and developed a patent for dehumidification systems.

In building the Design Air team, Wayne focuses not only on qualification levels, but also attitude and approach to work. Wayne’s business philosophy orientates Design Air around its commitment to excellence in all aspects. This is met in the quality of service, products sold, and ultimate customer satisfaction.

Outside of business, Wayne and his wife Bernice have three grown children, Wayne swims and golfs now instead of playing hockey.
